Birth
Leonard and his brother were born a very long time ago... Almost 95,000 years ago. And this birth was not ordinary. They were born in a capsule. Their father created them, using the DNA of their mother, about whom they knew nothing.

After creating them, their father did not take care of the children. He considered them mistakes or chimeras. (In my AU, chimeras are created beings, not born creatures.) And, unwilling to take care of them, he left them in the icy citadel he had created himself in a forgotten world inhabited by creatures that would tear children apart for the sake of a single soul.
