Nulla da cercare

Siete meravigliosi proprio così come siete.
Siate allegri.
Voi siete meraviglie di vita eppure pensate di essere nulla.
Soffrite e cercate qualcosa che pensate di non avere.
Ma voi contenete l’intero cosmo.
Contenete tutte le meraviglie, le cose più meravigliose della terra e del cielo.
E se non riuscite a capirlo, allora non sarete felici, non avrete illuminazione.
Sedete lì ad ascoltarmi offrire insegnamenti per sapere come la vostra persona possa praticare, realizzarsi, essere bella, ornare se stessa; ma la vostra persona, non può praticare, realizzarsi, essere adornata o abbellita.
Ciò significa che siete già così belli da non poter essere più belli di così.
La mia pratica è la pratica della non-pratica, la mia realizzazione è realizzare la non-realizzazione.
Non abbiamo bisogno di praticare, perché praticare significa realizzare e non ci manca nulla che abbiamo bisogno di realizzare.
Non abbiamo bisogno di essere abbelliti, perché siamo già così belli.
La rosa è già perfetta.
Se mettessimo dei cosmetici sulla rosa, l’effetto sarebbe molto buffo.
La nuvola è già perfetta.
Se usassimo una tinta per rendere la nuvola rossa, sarebbe inutile.
Quella foglia verde è già perfetta e voi siete già perfetti; uomini o donne, siamo già perfetti.
Perché dobbiamo sentirci così poveri?
Siamo già persone che non hanno più bisogno di cercare o fare nulla, persone senza impegni.

Nothing to seek

You are wonderful just as you are.
Be joyful.
You are wonders of life, and yet you think you are nothing.
You suffer and seek something you think you do not have.
But you contain the entire cosmos.
You contain all the wonders, the most marvellous things of earth and heaven.
And if you cannot understand this, then you will not be happy; you will not attain enlightenment.
You sit there listening to me offer teachings on how you, as a person, might practise, realise your potential, be beautiful, and adorn yourselves; but you, as a person, cannot practise, realise your potential, be adorned or beautified.
This means that you are already so beautiful that you cannot be any more beautiful than this.
My practice is the practice of non-practice; my realisation is the realisation of non-realisation.
We do not need to practise, because to practise means to realise, and there is nothing lacking that we need to realise.
We do not need to be beautified, because we are already so beautiful.
The rose is already perfect.
If we were to put make-up on the rose, the effect would be rather comical.
The cloud is already perfect.
If we were to use dye to turn the cloud red, it would be pointless.
That green leaf is already perfect, and you are already perfect; whether men or women, we are already perfect.
Why must we feel so poor?
We are already people who no longer need to seek or do anything, people without obligations.
