Americans pulled off the MV Hondius — healthy, no symptoms, no threat to anyone — are imprisoned in a biosecurity center in Nebraska. Meanwhile the crew of 30, on the same ship, with the same rodent infestation, are sailing to the Netherlands with no protective gear and no quarantine order. If person-to-person spread were the real concern, this makes no sense. It only makes sense if the response was never about the science.
