The Silver Lining of the Pandemic: Independent Media Won. And the Institutions That Tried to Silence It Lost Their Own People Too.

Chris Cuomo. Don Lemon. The same networks that suppressed early treatment and amplified the narrative lost their biggest names anyway. Meanwhile Joe Rogan, independent podcasters, and physicians willing to say what the peer-reviewed literature actually showed built audiences the legacy media can no longer match. The shift didn't reverse when the pandemic ended. It accelerated. People found voices that gave them straight answers — and they didn't go back.
