ICE AGENT SHOOTS MAN DURING BRONX OPERATION

An ICE agent shot a man during a targeted operation in the Bronx on Thursday. DHS confirmed that the man survived and was taken to a local hospital.

DHS claimed the man had a previous criminal conviction and several prior arrests. Mayor Zohran Mamdani said agents surrounded him and a five-year-old child inside a car before firing multiple rounds. The child was reportedly unharmed.

Governor Kathy Hochul demanded the release of all body-camera footage, while protesters gathered near the scene calling for justice.
