⚡️🇮🇷🇾🇪🇸🇦 — Iran has stepped up military assistance to Yemen’s Houthis, providing intelligence, training, tactical advice and missile/drone targeting support that Saudi and Yemeni intelligence sources say has enabled increasingly sophisticated attacks and rapid territorial gains, The Wall Street Journal reports.

➡️ Former Israeli defence intelligence Iran-branch chief Danny Citrinowicz described operational intelligence links as “very, very strong,” characterising the relationship as strategic cooperation rather than a client-patron arrangement, with Tehran benefiting from pressure on Saudi Arabia and higher oil prices. The Soufan Center said the strikes help Iran project power, while Yemen expert Adam Baron attributed the Houthis’ recent advances to assistance from Iran and other Axis actors.

Despite Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqaei’s September claim that the Houthis act independently, IRGC members have praised their recent strikes against Saudi Arabia and the Saudi-led coalition.
