🚨🇮🇷 — Iran’s IRGC Navy claimed a supertanker carrying over 2 million barrels of crude oil exploded and caught fire severely after striking a mine while attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz via an unauthorized route. It stated the vessel had disabled all positioning and radar systems and sought to cross with US military support.

The IRGC Navy reiterated that the strait is closed and warned vessels against violating Iranian regulations.
