⚡️🇮🇷🇺🇸 — Iran was able to disable and control the operation of some networks and platforms, including Starlink, during the recent war, according to the Secretary of Iran's Supreme Cyberspace Council and Head of the National Cyberspace Center, Mohammad Amin Aghamiri, as reported by Mehr News Agency.

Aghamiri said Iran had been engaged in a serious confrontation in cybersecurity since the war began, and that during previous crises, Israel had sought to use Starlink to create fear and pressure Iran into taking certain actions.

He said Iranian authorities closely monitored the measures being taken and managed to prevent these networks from continuing their activities, adding that some claims surrounding such efforts amounted to speculation given the technical realities.

Aghamiri stressed that Iran is technically and operationally prepared to respond if new tools are used to attack the country's network or military infrastructure, and that it has the necessary readiness at all levels to take appropriate measures in accordance with governance requirements.
