➡️ In talks with the Iraqi delegation, Araghchi disclosed a recent Iran-Oman agreement to delineate safe commercial shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz and warned regional states against allowing foreign actors to use their territory or infrastructure for operations hostile to Iran. He attributed ongoing maritime disruptions to US and Israeli policies and said maritime security depended on ending what he described as US “economic terrorism.”

➡️ In separate meetings with Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger and Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Brandson, Araghchi accused European countries of “double standards,” arguing that their response to what he described as US and Israeli military aggression undermines Europe’s credibility, while with the Dutch delegation he linked Persian Gulf instability to what he characterized as previous US treaty violations concerning the nuclear agreement and called for European states to end support for Israeli military operations in Gaza and Lebanon; Brandson reiterated the need to maintain diplomatic channels.

➡️ Discussions with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov focused on South Caucasus security cooperation, border security and implementation of existing economic agreements, with Araghchi using the engagement to emphasize Iran’s readiness to defend its national interests against US and Israeli intervention.
