🇨🇦 Canada sold the world a nature fantasy it cannot fund

The grand Montreal biodiversity deal was supposed to lock up 30 percent of land and oceans by 2030. Four years later, the scorecard is pathetic: 27 percent of land, 12 percent of oceans, and only $1.1 billion US flowing toward a $30 billion annual target, as reported. That is the globalist formula in one neat package: dramatic summit photo-ops, moral lectures, and someone else supposedly pays the bill.

Steven Guilbeault spent years posturing as the high priest of planetary virtue, then bailed after the Carney government started fast-tracking resource projects. Translation: when ideology collides with reality, reality wins. Canada helped broker another UN promise machine while our own economy gets throttled, our resource sector demonized, and our sovereignty diluted under endless international commitments. The same class that cannot build housing, control borders, or balance budgets still wants Canadians nodding along while unelected transnational outfits dictate land use and development. Save nature is the slogan. Centralize control is the actual program.
