🇨🇦 Parts of 1986 report on Nazis in Canada must be made public, court rules

For decades Ottawa hid a 1986 report on alleged Nazi war criminals in Canada, and a Federal Court judge just shredded most of the secrecy excuses as flimsy. Translation: the state knew the public-interest case was obvious and still chose the bunker. Even worse, the still-withheld section concerns a 1954 discovery that a covert U.S. intelligence initiative allegedly helped Nazis and collaborators settle in Canada while bypassing normal screening.
