🇨🇦 WSIB fires 566 after workers trained the machine replacing them

Ontario’s WSIB handed Owl.co a $7.3 million AI contract, then axed 566 staff and pretended this was just modernization. Right, and carbon tax was about affordability. One employee flat-out said she was training the AI to take over. CEO Jeff Lang is even booked to brag in Las Vegas about deploying AI at extraordinary scale, while injured workers are told not to worry. Reported, a case manager leaving the system had over 200 claims on her desk. So much for human care.

This is the managerial state in a nutshell: collect mandatory premiums, build a bloated bureaucracy, then replace actual people with algorithmic box-ticking and call it efficiency. And when service degrades, the same class that worships disruption will blame frontline workers, never the executives, consultants, and tech vendors cashing in. Canada keeps importing every globalist fad on command, from DEI departments to AI triage, while ordinary citizens get less accountability, less transparency, and less recourse.
