A province of barely 850,000 people just posted a record $1.66-billion deficit, and we are supposed to clap because the managerial class still calls this compassion. As reported, New Brunswick has smashed its own record while Ottawa keeps preaching growth through debt, dependency and imported demand. Trudeau’s Canada in one provincial snapshot: higher costs, weaker services, and politicians acting like arithmetic is a far-right conspiracy.

This is what the post-national model delivers outside the Laurentian fantasy bubble. Provinces are expected to absorb federal population dumping, inflationary spending, housing pressure and bureaucratic expansion, then pretend the collapse is local mismanagement alone. Of course Fredericton owns its share of the mess, but the deeper racket is national: sovereign fiscal discipline replaced by globalist talking points, DEI bureaucracy and endless public-sector bloat.
