Americans are losing their minds finding out they can no longer just print with their home printers
āI'm out here looking for a job right now and I'm trying to print up my resume. My deceased father has left a printer at home and I'm like, okay, cool, I'm gonna check out the printerā
He goes through the painstaking process of having to donāt get to WiFi, create an account, download an app. Connect it all together. Then after that the printer is still connected to his dadās account, so he spends 45 minutes on the phone with customer service to transfer the printer into his account
After all that, he gets a prompt saying he canāt print without signing up for a subscription and paying $8 per monthā¦.
āAre you serious right now? ā A subscription to use the device that's already in my fucking house? ā Are you serious? Are you serious?ā
Let me educate people on the HP Printers to stay away from so this never happens to you
The models are:
HP Envy 6110r
HP Envy Photo 7260r
HP OfficeJet Pro 9120r
HP Smart Tank 6001r
HP Smart Tank 7602r
All these printers require a minimum $9 monthly plan to print and they limit how much you can print. If you want to print more pages you have to pay more
The worst part is the printer isnāt even free, many of these you have to pay a month price for the printer and the plan to print. Itās insanity
