U.S. Debt now exceeds 100% of GDP for the first time since World War 2 🤯👀

Big difference from 1946: back then the war had just ended.

Today it's peacetime and the deficit still ran ~6.2% of GDP last year. And it's not the peak, CRFB projects 125% by 2036.
