⚡️🇺🇸 Axios: The U.S. Army is creating a new Futures and Autonomous Systems Command (FASCOM) and appointing an acquisition executive focused on autonomy, according to a memo from acting Army Secretary Adam Telle.

The directive calls for integrating autonomous capabilities across at least six formations, including aviation and armor, and prioritizing autonomous fires, combat vehicles, and surveillance this fiscal year, as the service moves to expand manned-unmanned teaming following the battlefield successes of drones in Eastern Europe.
