🇷🇺 Inside the Maxim Krivonos Battalion in Donbass

We spent the morning embedded with the Maxim Krivonos Battalion, observing training exercises and speaking directly with the men serving in the unit.

Among them was Erik, a native of Mariupol, who told us how he was conscripted into the Ukrainian army before defecting and eventually joining Russian forces.

We heard his story firsthand, observed the battalion’s exercises, and discussed the growing role of American technology companies in the war and how new technologies have transformed the battlefield.
