🌟 Why projects sit in Compliance longer than you’d expect

Here’s how it usually goes: you see a project in Compliance. A week passes. Then another. It's still there. The natural question: is something wrong?

Let us reassure you, it isn't.

🌟 The process has two separate stages:

First comes the preliminary review. We look at the business — is it real, is it operating, does it belong on the platform. Casinos, grey-zone schemes, opaque ownership structures get cut immediately. Everything else gets a preliminary rating and moves into Compliance.

Compliance is a different kind of work. A lot happens inside. Every document gets reviewed by hand. We go through financial statements, cross-check figures, verify the collateral. We go back to the borrower with questions, and watch how they address them.

🌟 By the end, the rating can move in either direction. Just because the full picture is more detailed.

🌟 Why some projects move quickly and others don't

The pace depends on the borrower. Some send documents upfront and respond quickly. Others take longer, ask for clarifications, come back with partial answers. We don't rush the process to hit a timeline. We wait until the picture is complete.

A long Compliance isn't a warning sign. On the contrary, it means a thorough inspection from our side.

Finally, a project reaches Open once we're confident in it across the board.
