‼️🇺🇦 Ukrainian Bishop of the OCU "Ordained" 291 Men as Deacons for Money to Save Them from Conscription

▪️A Kalush court found Bishop Kirill (Mykhailo Mykhailiuk) of the Uzhhorod-Khust Diocese of the OCU guilty of obstructing the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the court registry.
▪️Since June 2023, the clergyman has fictitiously issued deacon's certificates to 291 men, allowing them to avoid conscription.
▪️The service was a paid one: initially, the "ordination" cost $1,000, but later the price increased to $2,000.
▪️The bishop entered into a plea agreement with the prosecutor's office and received a suspended sentence.
