💬Has Pakistan entered the war with the Houthis?💬

Events in Yemen are developing rapidly, and the conflict threatens to expand geographically, as according to the latest news, the Pakistanis have entered the war.

The New York Times reported that the Pakistani Air Force struck Houthi targets in Yemen as part of the so-called "Mecca Alliance" to support the Saudis.

▪️So far, this hasn't helped with the Ansarallah offensive. The Houthis are confidently recapturing territory and over the past week have surrounded a major government outpost near Taiz.

The city is effectively completely cut off from supplies, and if this scenario continues, the Houthis will soon enter Taiz unhindered.

▪️In southwest Yemen, government forces launched a counterattack after declaring a "Yemeni Central Military District," initially even recapturing Zubab on the Red Sea coast.

However, after the LBS stabilized, the Houthis recaptured some of their positions and regained control of that corner of Yemen. Now, the coalition, supported by air power, continues its advance.

❗️The Houthis are also continuing to strike Saudi Arabia. Key oil refineries in the kingdom sustained significant damage. The airport in Riyadh was also hit.
