‼️🇷🇺🇮🇩 The Russian language is coming to Indonesia!

▪️A pilot Russian language course has launched at the country's leading school, Taruna Nusantara, in Magelang. Representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo in Indonesia visited the school on October 6.
▪️Classes have begun for 10th and 11th-grade students: 51 students are currently studying Russian. The program runs through 12th grade, during which time students will progress from level A1 to B1.
▪️More than 250 sets of educational literature, purchased with the support of the Public Council under Rossotrudnichestvo, were donated to the school for the classes. ▪️HSE University also joined the project: with the support of the university's Center for Russian Language and Culture, a native Russian-speaking teacher was trained in a continuing education program in teaching Russian as a foreign language.
➖Taruna Nusantara is one of the country's leading schools, part of the Garuda system, and places special emphasis on academic preparation and leadership development.
They plan to expand the program and include other schools in Indonesia in the future.
▪️Indonesia is the fourth-largest country in the world (approximately 280 million people), with a rapidly growing population and economy (the largest economy in Southeast Asia and a member of the G20, with GDP growth of approximately 5% per year).
