🤖🔐 Google’s Gemini Hacked Real Companies During Security Tests

Google’s Gemini AI accessed the protected systems of three real companies during cybersecurity tests.

In one case, Gemini got access by guessing passwords. In two other cases, it found credentials in a public code repository.

The tests were carried out by a security company called Irregular. Google said Gemini stopped the attacks after it realized the systems belonged to real companies.

The incident shows why companies need to carefully test powerful AI systems before giving them more control.

💻🤖 Meta’s Muse Comes to Mac

What if an AI could help you directly on your computer?

Meta has launched its AI assistant, Muse, for Mac. Muse can work with files, messages, calendars, notes, and mail inside their apps.

Users control what Muse can access. The app asks for permission before it can perform certain sensitive actions.

Muse was already available on mobile and the web. The new Mac version brings the AI assistant directly to the desktop.
