Brave Adds Email Aliases for Better Privacy

Brave has added a new privacy feature that lets users create an alias instead of sharing their real email address when signing up for websites.

Emails sent to the alias are automatically forwarded to the user's main inbox. This can help reduce online tracking, because websites and advertising companies often use email addresses to identify users.

It can also offer extra protection if a website suffers a data breach, since the user's main email address may remain private.

Brave currently offers five free email aliases. More aliases will be available for Premium users.
