🇩🇴 A sudden surge of the Barrera River flooded parts of Los Ríos, #Bahoruco, after heavy mountain rainfall on Wednesday. Two motorcyclists were swept away by the current but survived, while one motorcycle was buried under mud and debris.

Local officials say similar flooding occurred last year and have requested river works. The repeated damage puts the bridge and nearby communities under growing pressure each time intense rain reaches the upper basin.
