“Some believe that the withdrawal of Coalition forces will leave the Kurdistan Region vulnerable to threats or even lead to its collapse.
I assure the people of Kurdistan that we are in strong coordination with the Iraqi Federal Government to confront any threat, whether under the name of ISIS or any other name.
Anyone who believes they can threaten the stability of the Kurdistan Region should know that Kurdistan has sufficient Peshmerga forces and patriots ready to defend its people and land and repel any attack.
The Peshmerga, in full coordination with Iraqi federal forces, are ready to defend the country’s stability and confront any threat.”
