— Israeli PM Netanyahu has instructed an interministerial team and legal officials to prepare a case against Turkish President Erdogan at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The proposed case would focus on Turkey's 'treatment of its Kurdish population' and allegations that Erdogan-led Turkish government has provided financial support to Hamas.

Neither Israel nor Turkey is a party to the ICC's Rome Statute, and Israeli officials are considering pursuing the case through a third country.

Sources said Israel views the potential proceedings primarily as leverage against Erdogan and does not necessarily intend to file the case.
