🤑 Durov says TON has the most profitable staking

Pavel Durov, as part of his MTONGA program, made another post dedicated to TON. This time he highlighted the highest staking yield among the 50 largest cryptocurrencies — over 18%

Such profitability became possible due to the recent Catchain 2.0 update. The block generation speed in the network increased sixfold (from 2.5 seconds to 400 ms). Since validators are rewarded for each created block, the technical acceleration of the network directly led to an increase in profitability for those who stake their coins. This made TON the most profitable asset for passive income among market leaders

Many are concerned that high yields usually mean high inflation. Indeed, mathematically TON inflation temporarily increased from 0.6% to 3.6% per year. However, in the market context this is still a good indicator: Solana’s inflation started at 8%, Polkadot is steadily around 10%, Cosmos — 10%, Aptos — ~7%, Sui — 4%. Moreover, inflation will decrease over time, since validator rewards are fixed and will not grow over time. At the same time, with increased activity, burning may also increase
