I didn’t think anyone could get this close, not like you did seeing parts of me I usually keep hidden and still choosing to stay. You make everything feel softer, like I don’t have to carry everything on my own anymore. It scares me sometimes, how much I need you, how easily you could break me if you wanted to. “If I fall apart, will you still be the one to put me back together?” I ask quietly, hoping you understand it’s not weakness it’s trust. And maybe that’s what this is, not losing myself, but letting you in enough to help me become whole.
