It’s strange how no matter how far I go, no matter how much time passes, everything still circles back to you. I’ve tried to move on, tried to fill the silence with anything that isn’t your name, but it never really works. Every little thing reminds me of what we had, and what I lost. “Do you ever think about me the way I still think about you?” I ask, not expecting an answer, just needing to let it exist somewhere.
