17 сентября в ДК «Мир» открылась экспозиция, посвящённая 60-летию Лаборатории информационных технологий ОИЯИ, до 2000 года носившей название Лаборатории вычислительной техники и автоматизации.
Главные экспонаты — архивные выпуски стенгазеты «Импульс», в которых сотрудники ЛВТА с 1963 по 1988 год рассказывали о рабочих буднях: научных событиях, поездках, шутках и историях из жизни коллектива.
Архив «Импульса» ценен не только для истории лаборатории. Это одна из самых полных коллекций стенгазет советского времени. Самая ранняя газета в экспозиции создана в 1964 году.
На выставке представлены документы об истории образования ЛВТА, материалы и личные вещи её основателей Михаила Мещерякова и Николая Говоруна, а также фрагменты интервью с авторами «Импульса».

💾 Dive into Soviet scientific culture at Impulse Epoch exhibition at JINR
On 17 September, Mir Cultural Centre hosted the opening ceremony of an exhibition dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Laboratory of Information Technologies at JINR, known as the Laboratory of Computing Technologies and Automation (LCTA) until 2000.
The exhibition’s main highlights are archival issues of Impulse, a wall newspaper in which LCTA employees documented their everyday work from 1963 to 1988, including scientific events, trips, jokes, and stories from the life of the laboratory community.
The Impulse archive is valuable not only as a record of the laboratory’s history. It is also one of the most comprehensive collections of Soviet-era wall newspapers. The earliest newspaper on display dates back to 1964.
The exhibition also features documents relating to the establishment of LCTA, materials and personal belongings of its founders, Mikhail Meshcheryakov and Nikolay Govorun, as well as excerpts from interviews with the authors of Impulse.
⏰ The exhibition will be on display until the end of October 2026. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 13:00–19:00
