In light of Marco Rubio admitting Israel has pushed the US into war with Iran,

Attached are telegrams from President John F. Kennedy kindly telling Israel to piss off after being asked whether the United States would go to war for Israel.

When JFK told Israel he’d cut off support to Israel if they didn’t allow nuclear inspections, Israel’s Prime Minister Levi Eshkol at the time said he was shocked and Israel would do whatever it needs to.

After saying he won’t offer security guarantees either, they were furious and dialogue died out. He was assassinated the following month.
