Two additional strategic points then we can move on. No one likes a wimp in politics, it signals weakness to your political enemies and gives your base the ick.
Secondarily, why would you countersignal the US if you are trying to spin up the same type of kosher-right dynamic/position here?
They should’ve supported the US domestic right to use capital punishment to build on receiving endorsement from Trump, Elon, Zuckerberg and this new milieu of newly emerged kosher-right “first worldist” “nationalists”.
Clearly the US want strong and capable allies in Australia and have been actively fighting the Labor government.
The move from One Nation’s kosher-right POV should be to recognise this goal, and trying to signal and chum up with the US and gain their respect and soft endorsement.
One thing we know about the US, when they want foreign regime change they get it by any means necessary.
These tech “nationalists” would just juice the algorithms to promote ON like they do for Restore, and the Trump ecosystem would start endorsing etc.
