About the Company
Our client is a leading Israeli retail chain operating approximately 300 store locations
nationwide.
They require a dedicated System Administrator to manage and support their
infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across all locations. This is a full-time,
on-site position based in Central Israel, working Sunday to Thursday, 08:00-17:00.
What You'll Do
Install and configure computers and printers, including all company software.
Install and support hardware peripherals and business applications (Office,
SAP B1, Lyrik, Nagar, and other specialized software).
Install and connect printers and scanners across the organization.
Configure and maintain VPN connections using FortiClient for remote
connectivity.
Execute and manage various IT operational procedures.
Support onboarding of new employees with full IT setup and training.
Basic Requirements
Windows: Desktop OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Windows Server: Server administration and maintenance.
Office: Microsoft Office suite installation and support.
Printers: Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Printer Server: Print server management and configuration.
Active Directory: User management, group policies, and domain
administration.
Group Policy: GPO creation, management, and troubleshooting.
Domain Name Server (DNS): DNS configuration and management.
WSUS: Windows Server Update Services management and deployment.
SCCM: System Center Configuration Manager for software deployment and
management.
Remote Desktop Services: Including RD Session Host, RD Gateway, RD Web
Access, and RD Licensing.
Exchange: Microsoft Exchange Server administration.
Hyper-V: Virtual machine creation, management, and maintenance.
Hyper-V Failover Cluster Manager: High availability cluster configuration and
management.
Veeam: Backup and replication solutions management.
Windows File Server: File sharing, permissions, and access management.
File Compression: Data compression techniques and tools.
Deduplication: Storage optimization through data deduplication.
Storage: HPE Nimble storage systems (experience required).
Linux Server: Ubuntu administration (experience required).
Batch: Writing and executing batch scripts.
PowerShell: Writing and executing PowerShell scripts.
Bash: Writing and executing Bash scripts.

Zabbix: Infrastructure monitoring and alerting.
Windows File History: Backup and recovery configuration.
Networking: Network fundamentals, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Additional Technical Skills (Basic Level)

ELK Stack: Basic knowledge of Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
Microsoft CA: Certificate management for various systems (Windows, Linux,
FortiGate, Docker containers).
FortiGate: Firewall configuration including rules, load balancing, VPN, and
IPSEC.
SQL: Database administration fundamentals.
Docker: Container management including Docker Swarm orchestration.
Redis: In-memory data store basics.
RabbitMQ: Message broker fundamentals.
Non-technical Skills
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Highly responsible, self-disciplined, and self-motivated.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
