🚨 🇵🇰 Pakistan’s reported Yemen troop deployment plan sparks anger

Under the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement, Pakistan announced plans to deploy troops in Yemen against the Houthi offensive, as part of collective deterrence involving Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey.

Pakistan’s 2026–27 defence budget is $10.8 billion, while SIPRI estimates total defence spending at $11.9 billion.
