🚨 Captain Smit Machchhar, who survived a mid-air cockpit attack aboard Flydubai flight FZ1073, has undergone emergency skull reconstruction surgery in Saudi Arabia.

He was later transferred to the UAE. Despite ongoing neurological symptoms and vision complications, investigators have recorded his statement.

The captain has indicated that he intends to fly again.
