📌 Shiraz, IRNA – The Head of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) has described the southern city of Lamerd in Fars province as a “living laboratory of internationally banned weapons.”
Speaking on Tuesday on the sidelines of a visit to the damaged areas of Lamerd, Hossein Jaberi Ansari said the city, which came under brutal enemy attacks with weapons of mass destruction, is an “objective image of the criminal policies of the US and the Israeli regime.”
Jaberi Ansari said that every corner of the city and its homes bears witness to the enemy’s deliberate crimes and killings, and that it is the media’s responsibility to narrate the people’s suffering and the enemy’s criminal attacks against them through accurate and compelling text and visual reports to the people of Iran and the world.
Referring to the US president’s rhetoric about the “death of a nation,” the IRNA chief linked those statements to what happened in Lamerd, saying: “This crime is the operational and objective translation of the words of the terrorist president of the United States.”
