📌 Tehran, IRNA – President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasizes the need to strengthen coordination and maintain ongoing communication between Iran and Armenia to build mutual trust and consolidate bilateral relations.
Pezeshkian and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan have held talks on the sidelines of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit and the Caspian Sea environmental summit in Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, Pezeshkian emphasized the extensive potential for expanding bilateral cooperation, saying there are numerous opportunities for cooperation between Iran and Armenia and expressing hope that ties between the two countries would further expand in all fields.
Highlighting the two countries’ shared border and the need to strengthen mutual engagement, he said Iran and Armenia should be able to interact and cooperate across various sectors.
The president also stressed the importance of coordination, mutual support, and sustained communication, noting that closer cooperation would help build mutual trust, deepen understanding, and strengthen bilateral relations.
Pezeshkian further underscored the need to maintain stable and lasting bilateral ties, reaffirming Iran’s readiness to expand cooperation with Armenia in various fields.
