He underscored that the triumph over top global talents was a fitting testament to the unparalleled scientific capability, exceptional intelligence, and lofty determination of Iranian youth, as well as the enduring potential of the country's educational system.
The 19th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA 2026) was held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from September 25 to October 5, 2026, with Iran's team securing five gold medals after a strong performance among more than 66 countries and 320 students from around the world.
