📱 iPhone 17 Pro new render with a matte camera unit

📱 A user with the nickname kanedacane has offered on 𝕏 another version of what the iPhone 17 Pro camera design could look like.

🔎 In this render, the enthusiast decided to abandon the classic two-color design, where the glossy camera unit contrasts with the matte back panel. The new design looks more solid, and the camera unit doesn't seem so huge and stand out.

💬 Among comments:

This makes sense, it looks just like the current generation iPad Pro

I believe the camera bar will have a slightly darker tone on each color

📲 Apple readies iPadOS 19 overhaul that will make the tablet’s software more like macOS

With an eye on the device operating more like a Mac.

🍏 Besides a big effort to make the design of Apple’s operating systems more consistent, a big theme of the upcoming WWDC is likely to be iPad software. Many users would like to see macOS on iPad, so the changes will likely go far enough to make a lot of those users happier. Of course it won't be the macOS itself, but the upgrade will focus on productivity, multitasking and app window management.

📰 There will be no price hike: Trump exempted electronics from increased duties

👍 The standard duty of 10% will continue to apply to smartphones, laptops, hard disks, processors and memory chips supplied to the US from any country.

🪙 Recall, under the new tariffs, the highest duty is expected for goods from China – up to 125%. Now there will be an exception for electronics.

🏭 Also, the tariff relaxation affects equipment for the production of semiconductors. This will benefit one of the key processor manufacturers - TSMC, which announced major investments in the United States.

🧐 Bloomberg analysts believe that the easing may be temporary – until the implementation of separate tariffs on electronics – but in any case significantly lower than 125%.

Stay tuned with @iPhone
