U.S. President Donald Trump publicly called for Ukraine to replace its leadership, stating that President Volodymyr Zelensky should be succeeded by someone capable of reaching a deal to end the war with Russia

Speaking at the White House, Trump said: "I suggest they get a new leader who can make a deal, because he could have made many deals and for some reason he never does." He added: "I think it's time for Ukraine to get a new president." Trump also accused Zelensky of worsening global fuel shortages by attacking Russian refineries, saying "He better damn well stop!".
