Musk understood something that Durov hasn’t yet understood.

I watch how X is evolving towards crypto and wonder why Telegram can't just replicate the functionality. It seems like Durov* is on X, yet he still misses the point 😭

X started simply by highlighting tickers like $KINGY. Then it added prices and charts directly under tweets, and today they announced a buy button right under the chart.

This is perfect onboarding. Tickers aren't shown to just anyone; they appear contextually, reaching the target audience directly.

Maybe Durov* is considering this too, starting with a wallet and then adding everything else?

Another question is where to direct users for purchases. TON has two barely functioning DEXs, and Durov doesn't seem to respect other blockchains much. He created a TON monopoly in mini-apps for a reason.

In theory, rich formatting could allow buttons under posts, but without standards, it would be a mess.

Overall, I have no idea why X is advancing rapidly and solidifying its status as a crypto social network, while Telegram risks remaining just a messenger.
