Durov is at it again. When a post starts with "This summer...", you almost expect it to continue with: "The deal has been signed." Last May, we saw a similar announcement with the integration of Grok into Telegram. Now, Durov has decided to integrate Gram Wallet into Telegram.

This time, it's simpler. They forked MyTonWallet, stuffed it into wallet.ton.org, and called it Gram Wallet 🦝

It should have been done long ago: creating a wallet automatically when a Telegram account is created. But the @wallet team thought their wallet would be better. Now, it seems TOP didn't meet expectations, and it's unclear what will happen with @wallet. After all, there's already a non-custodial wallet in Telegram, even present in the menu. So why announce another one? 😊

It's unclear what Durov is planning, but there's still a whole month of summer left. And as we know, Telegram and TON Core love to do everything at the last minute.

In any case, the best wallet has always been and remains @xRocket. Yes, it's custodial, but it's for the people.
