Last Friday, the InteRussia journalists from Latin America visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation — one of the key stops in their program.
⭕ The participants met with Maria Zakharova, Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian MFA, who shared her perspective on the current challenges in international relations and the evolving role of media in global diplomacy.
What did the fellows get to experience first-hand?
⭕️ They asked all their most pressing questions about today’s world politics;
⭕️ had an open and sincere exchange with a leading voice of Russian diplomacy;
⭕️ and even heard a few exclusive insights.
Such meetings give our fellows a rare opportunity to engage directly with Russian diplomacy — not from the news, but from the people who create them!
The InteRussia fellowship for journalists from Latin America is implemented within the framework of the New Generation program of Rossotrudnichestvo and with the support from the Presidential Grants Foundation.
