— 🇺🇸 SpaceX has agreed to acquire nationwide 800 MHz wireless spectrum from Grain Management in a deal reportedly worth $8 billion, strengthening its ambitions to challenge AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile through Starlink Mobile.

Shares of the three carriers fell around 6% in extended trading as the acquisition raised expectations of stronger satellite-to-phone coverage, although analysts warned that ground infrastructure remains necessary.

The transaction requires FCC approval and follows authorization for 15,000 next-generation Starlink satellites, alongside broader regulatory efforts to expand satellite connectivity.
