Apparently, in addition to strikes on power generation facilities such as thermal power plants, combined heat and power plants, and hydroelectric power plants, they are also trying to disrupt the distribution of electricity from these facilities to consumers in the Ukrainian capital.

According to the source, for the first time, drones equipped with cumulative-cutting warheads specifically designed to destroy high-voltage pylons and metal bridge structures were used. These warheads consist of a main explosive charge weighing 40 kg and four modules.

However, it is important to understand that destroying several power lines around Kyiv will not immediately cripple the entire power distribution system, as the system operates with multiple levels of redundancy, which the enemy has further strengthened in recent years. A significant and lasting impact can only be achieved through systematic and repeated attacks.
