🎵 Instagram Now Lets You Replace Music In Old Posts

Instagram has introduced a small update that many creators have been asking for.

You can now change the music on an existing feed post or carousel without deleting and reposting it. Until now, replacing a song meant losing all of the post's likes, comments, shares, and reach.

With the new Replace Audio option, everything stays the same except the soundtrack.

This is especially useful if:

➡️ A trending song appears after you've already published your post.
➡️ The original audio no longer fits your content or brand.
➡️ You simply want to refresh an older post without sacrificing its engagement.

To replace the music:

✔️ Open the post.
✔️ Tap the two-line menu in the top-right corner.
✔️ Select Edit.
✔️ Choose Replace Audio and pick a new track.

While this isn't a major feature, it's a practical improvement. Creators no longer have to choose between keeping a post's performance and updating its audio.
