🤔 Instagram adds “AI Creator” labels

Instagram is rolling out a new label for accounts that regularly use AI tools. Creators can enable an “AI creator” tag on their profile, and it will also apply to their content.

How it works:

➡️ Profile gets an “AI creator” label if enabled
➡️ Individual posts can still get “AI info” labels
➡️ Post-level label overrides the profile tag
➡️ Rollout is gradual, not available to everyone yet

The goal is to make AI content easier to recognize as it becomes more common across the app.

Instagram is pushing original content while also investing heavily in AI and encouraging its use.

Feels like they’re building transparency around something they actively want to scale.
