🔗 Instagram added internal links and AI ideas to its Edits app

Edits can now embed links to other Reels or IG accounts directly inside a clip. The links carry over when the video is exported to Instagram. External links are not supported.

The app also adds weekly content prompts. Each user gets 10 suggested ideas based on their past Reels activity. This shifts Edits closer to an end to end creation loop.

Instagram also rolled out 25 new video effects and expanded the storyboard to support multiple audio and video takes. Edits keeps absorbing more of the creator workflow inside Instagram.
