🔋Instagram Hits Brief Outage for Users in US & India
#news #Insta

Instagram went down for hundreds of users, mainly in the United States, causing login failures, blank screens, and app crashes early on Dec 28, 2025. Many users reported being unable to load content or log in, with issues peaking around 4:10 a.m. EST.

While the US saw the most disruptions, India reported far fewer problems, and other regions seemed mostly unaffected. Around 45 % of issues were app-related, and 41 % were login failures, according to outage tracker Downdetector. Meta has not shared a reason for the outage yet. So, for now… Instagram just took a short nap, leaving users staring at blank screens.
