Worried someone’s stealing your Reels on Instagram or Facebook? Meta has your back! They’ve launched a new tool that alerts creators when their Instagram Reels are being reposted or copied.

When a Reel closely matches yours, you’ll get notified — plus insights on views and whether the other account is monetizing it. You can track, block, or add attribution to make sure everyone knows it’s your original content. You can even create an “allow list” for trusted collaborators so their reposts don’t trigger alerts. For now, it’s mobile-only, but Meta is testing a desktop version too.

Currently, it’s rolling out for creators in Meta’s monetization programs or using Rights Manager — basically, your Instagram Reels just got a personal bodyguard.
